Showcasing Local Arts and Craft
At Vintage & Brown we support the local Arts and Craft community by showcasing their work in our shop on a regular basis. Here you will find original artwork and handmade crafts ranging from paintings to ceramics and glass.
Come and browse the work of the talented people that live locally, you're sure to find something you like!
Chris Hucklebridge
Chris took up art 3 years ago when he lost his son Mark aged 38 and a world motocross rider to bowel cancer. He paints in watercolour and all sales are donated back into Mark's charity which he set up before he died. The Charity 'Friends of Huck' helps cancer patients and cancer charities and also sports people with illness and life changing injuries.

Victoria is the artist behind Since Day Dot. Inspired by psychedelia, 60s illustration and Art Nouveau style, Victoria breathes new life into beautiful vintage and pre-loved handbags and leather accessories by customising them with unique hand-painted designs.
Amanda Woods
Amanda creates glass art and suncatchers using stained glass and upcycled jewellery.
Based in her workshop in Marshfield village, Amanda cuts her own glass and uses the copperfoil technique to make unique pieces of glass art.
Julia Davies
Local artist Julia works mainly in oils and works to commissions. Her paintings are on display and for sale at Vintage and Brown.
Andrew Prescott

Blue Artemis
Blue Artemis is the creation of Mark Cranfield, a Somerset multi-disciplinary artist exploring surface pattern design through the medium of British-made fine bone china.
His work is inspired by bold graphic imagery featuring flora and fauna together with traditional chintz patterns, and merging these with his own idiosyncratic artwork and digital compositions. Each piece is created individually by hand, with no two ever identical, thus giving Blue Artemis its unique character.
Danny & Jackie White
This husband and wife team work in wood and natural materials. Danny makes items from recycled wood, such as bug houses, bird feeders and occasional table. He also turns wood.

Jackie works with textiles, she felts (wet and needle), sews, weaves and loves exploring the use of natural plant material for dyeing fabric and eco-printing.
